Professional Lawn Care Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Mowing and Trimming: Maintaining grass length and edges with mowers, trimmers, and edgers.
• Fertilizing and Pest Control: Applying fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides according to regulations and best practices.
• Weed Control: Identifying and removing weeds to maintain a healthy lawn.
• Mulching: Weeding, edging, and mulching flower beds.
• Planting and Maintenance: Planting flowers, shrubs, and trees as needed and maintaining existing plants.
• Irrigation: Monitoring and potentially performing minor repairs on irrigation systems.
• Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Safely operating and maintaining lawn care equipment.
• Customer Interaction: Communicating with clients about their lawn care needs and providing recommendations.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Lawn Care Practices: Understanding of mowing, trimming, fertilizing, pest control, and other lawn maintenance techniques.
• Ability to Operate Equipment: Safely operating lawn mowers, trimmers, aerators, and other equipment.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Customer Service Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with clients and provide excellent service.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose and address lawn problems.
• Safety Awareness: Following all safety guidelines and procedures.
• Valid Driver's License: Required
